Mayor Topbaş greeted Eid al-Fitr of his colleagues

Mayor of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Kadir Topbaş greeted Eid al-Fitr of his colleagues. Greeting Eid al-Fitr of the people of Istanbul and the Islam world, Dr. Topbaş wished this Eid would bring peace, tolerance and the rebirth of human values.

Mayor of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Kadir Topbaş greeted Eid al-Fitr of his colleagues in the Saraçhane City Hall. Greeting Eid al-Fitr of the people of Istanbul and the Islam world, Mayor Kadir Topbaş said “We shared the beauties of the Ramadan month with our citizens through iftars, suhurs and Ramadan bazaars we have organized. I wish this Eid and all the Eids would help us put aside animosities, and they would bring peace, tolerance and the rebirth of human values.”

Kadir Topbaş stating he is proud to serve Istanbul, the center of Civilization for 11 years, thanked his colleagues. Dr. Topbaş, putting emphasis on the fact that Istanbul is an example for the cities in Turkey and all around the world, with its investments and services, emphasized that Istanbul has a much brighter future.

Topbaş, “We imagined to transform Istanbul into a capital of tourism, congress, expo, finance and fashion, thank God we are making it a reality one by one”, stated Istanbul’s self-confidence has improved greatly. Addressing his colleagues as “unsung heroes” Dr. Topbaş stated “two days in a row should not be the same (we should always improve ourselves day by day) we should always strive and look for the better ways to keep on serving Istanbul and the humanity.”

Topbaş asking people of Istanbul going out of city for Eid al-Fitr to follow the traffic rules, said “Please be careful in the traffic and drivers don’t drive for too long. Haste makes waste. When driving think about your family on board and the other drivers.”
