IMM Wins Silver in the Stevie Awards

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has won another award for the coordinated work carried out by the city against the COVID-19 pandemic since day one.

"We Will Succeed Together”, a project developed by the Public Relations Department of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) was named the winner of Silver Stevie® Award in the category of Most Valuable Non-Profit Response of the Year – COVID-19 related information and Most Valuable Corporate Response categories at the 17th Annual International Business Awards®.

Winners were determined by a points system based on the total number of awards won in the IBAs, with a Gold Stevie win counting for three points, a Silver Stevie win for two points, and a Bronze Stevie win for 1.5 points.

Projects developed by the IMM’s Public Relations Department have also previously been awarded at the Stevie Awards in different categories.

With the “Silver Award” in the category of “Most Valuable Non-Profit Response of the Year,” the number of awards received by the Public Relations Department is now 50, 24 of which are international awards won in global competitions.

The effective public relations activities of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) during the pandemic process were previously deemed worthy of the Golden Globe Award by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA).

Stevie Awards is widely regarded as one of the world’s most important business awards programs.

The 2020 International Business Awards will be presented during a virtual event on December 1st, 2020, instead of the awards banquet it originally planned for October 24 in Paris.
