But then, İETT continues its improvement works on the metrobus line without slowing down. In this context, expansion and new evacuation bridges at Altunizade Station, construction of Zincirlikuyu station passenger entrance-exit area extension, passenger landing-overlap areas on the line, ground direction signs, Beylikdüzü and Söğütlüçeşme expedition frequency adaptation signalization applications were carried out.

On the other hand, it has been reported that the purchase of 300 new and high-capacity vehicles will be completed as soon as possible, with the instruction of the Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and the decision of the IMM Assembly, in order to renew the old metrobus vehicles.

In addition to traditional bus, the Metrobüs system operates in an exclusive corridor of 52 kilometres with 44 stations offering rapid, high quality inter-continental services along a substantial part of the city. It also“bridges” the two continents and integrates with rail at several hubs.
