HAVAİST timetable revised and added new lines

The timetable for four new lines of HAVAİST, which was owned by Otobüs Co., a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality providing passenger transportation services to the new airport of Istanbul was changed upon special requests from the public and employees.

Also, a new bus line has been added to integrate the new airport with the two bus terminals located in Esenler and Alibeyköy districts with a decision made by the Transportation and Coordination Center (UKOME).

The decision was taken in order to decrease the service waiting times in the first week after the opening of the new Istanbul Airport.

The number of daily travel in Istanbul Airport, which was previously 40 per day adding 10 more travel for each line per day, as planned, a total of 50 trips including additional travels. The planned lines were determined to pick up passengers from 20 centers in 16 districts across Istanbul.

As part of the works conducted with Turkish Airlines (THY), Directorate of Public Transportation Services (TUHİM), Istanbul Electricity, Tramway and Tunnel General Management (İETT), Istanbul Grand Airport (İGA), BELBİM, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the 20 locations were determined by taking into account the integration of Metro, Metrobüs, Deniz, Otobüs ve Minibus.

According to this arrangement, the timetable of Taksim - Beşiktaş -New Airport Line (IST-19) (round trip), Yenikapı-Bakirkoy -New Airport (IST-1) (round trip), Kozyatağı Metro - New Airport Line (IST-7) (round trip) and TUYAP - Bahçeşehir New Airport (IST-2) (round trip) is revised again.

The bus line called Esenler Main Bus Terminal - Alibeyköy Little Bus Station - Istanbul Airport Line” was added to the best quality luxury transportation services for the passengers with a decision made by the Transportation and Coordination Center (UKOME).

Within the scope of the application, which will begin on Thursday, November 8, the additional trips will be added to the airport if needed. Public transport to the new airport will be 50 percent off until the end of 2018. Payments can only be made via Istanbulkart.
