15 Athletes from İBBSK Karate Team was elected to the national team

24th World Senior Championships will be held between 6-11 November 2018 in Madrid, Spain. The İBBSK Karate Team will send 15 athletes to the national team to represent Turkey in the competition.

The Turkish Karate National Team will be looking for a medal with a total of 20 athletes, of which 15 are elected from the İBBSK Karate Team. Murat Delihasan, one of the successful Turkish team coaches will manage the team to drive and motivate.
 
The 24th World Karate Championship allocated the highest quota places for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, will be held on 6-11 November in Madrid, Spain.

After the Karate branch was taken to the Olympics, the Turkish Karate National Team began a period of preparation for the Olympic Games to be held in Japan in 2020.

The athletes selected from the İBBSK Karate Team are as follows:

Ali Sofuoğlu, Burak Uygur, Erman Eltemur, Uğur Aktaş, Alparslan Yamanoğlu, Emre Vefa Göktaş, Kutluhan Duran, Rıdvan Kaptan, Samed Gök, Serap Özçelik Arapoğlu, Merve Çoban, Eda Eltemur, Yıldız Aras, Gizem Sofuoğlu ve Meltem Hocaoğlu.
